What Usually Happens When A Pet Gets Sick!!!!

Hello and Good morning- Winter is coming, (BRHHHHHHHH)
so I squeezing in some last minute walks with my dog Lucy..

One of the more common questions I get about At Home
Veterinary Care
for pets is about HOW to start.

Many people are reluctant- they would just as soon
leave the decisions to 'the experts'

Which usually means a Veterinarian.

YET will your pet always get the best care.  IF you always accept your Veterinarians advice?

NOPE.

-----------------------
What usually happens
----------------------

Let's say your cat has been vomiting.

You go to your Veterinarian.

She wants to do additional diagnostics to Rule
out something more serious- she wants to do
X-rays, Blood work and an Ultrasound.

It might lead to a Stomach/Intestinal Biopsy.

This isn't necessarily bad, BUT it isn't
always necessary.

Your cat will often end up on some conventional
medication, such as Metoclopramide for vomiting,
YET it can have some serious side effects in cats.

If your cat is BAR ( Bright, Alert and Reactive),
well hydrated, still drinking and eating, then you
can definitely look at trying something at home.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Would you rather spend $ 1000.00
( or more)  or nothing?

-----------------------------------------------------------

I would rather save my dollars in that situation.

Some of the simple options in that situation
include:

-Treating for Hairballs- with Vaseline

-Homeopathic remedy for Vomiting- Arsenicum
Peppermint Tea

-And a Food change to a less allergenic food.

The most common cause of intermittent vomiting
in cats is food sensitivities.

IF your cat continues to Vomit, then you
can see your Veterinarian.

But still question each diagnostic step-
asking why each test is being done.

A couple of points that I want to emphasize.

First that YOU know your pet best.

BETTER than any Veterinarian.

YOU are able to do this At Home, with
my Help and Guidance.

Let's use Veterinarian Secrets Revealed Course as an example.

-------------------------------------------------
How to identify the early symptoms and treat them early at home.
-------------------------------------------------

You will learn this in many ways with the multimedia course:
in video, in print and in audio.

Determining the early symptoms of diseases in your pet is
based on performing an adequate physical exam.

Do not expect to be comfortable doing this in 1 day- but
after 2 weeks of practice, then you will be quite skilled
at performing a physical exam on your pet.

Every single part of the physical exam is detailed in the At Home Exam DVD.

Here are the Chapter Sections:

The entire exam video includes the examination of the following,
by section:

    * Part 1 (Introduction): temperature, pulse and respiration
    * Part 2: eyes, ears and nose
    * Part 3: mouth, lymph nodes, larynx, thyroid glands
    * Part 4: skin, genital and urinary system
    * Part 5: musculoskeletal (muscles, bones and joints)
    * Part 6: gastrointestinal (covers vomiting and diarrhea)
    * Part 7: heart, lungs and trachea
    * Part 8: Blood pressure and pulse

This is a detailed 60 minute DVD.

Dr. Jones will go through every portion of the physical exam, showing you exactly
what to do.

You can hear about him explaining more detail on the Screen Capture
Presentation CD ROM (Volume 1).

And you can read about the specifics in the Pet Health Manual -
Veterinary Secrets Revealed.

Also included is a physical exam worksheet - here you record your findings
from the physical exam.

After recording your findings, you can then determine if your pet is sick.

--------------------------
Let's use an example...
--------------------------

Keko, my new neighbors dog has a slight limp.

He is a 7 month old Collie cross.

My neighbor asks me to "check him out"- so these are my steps.

First I stand back and watch him - from a distance I can see him limp
slightly on the right and left front legs.

This tells me that more than one limb is involved.

THen I measure Temp, Pulse and Respirations - all are normal.

Next I perform a thorough musculoskeletal exam, as shown in Section
5 of the DVD.

My findings - pain on palpation of the middle of the long bones
(ie the humerus, which is the bone below the shoulder)

His joints are not painful.

There is nothing in his foot, or any sign of infection.

His Lymph nodes are normal size.

I research lameness in the index.

I read about the causes of lameness, especially in a young dog.

I can also listen to the audio sections.

In reading about it, I see that a disease called Panosteitis or
"Growing Pains" is common in young dogs.

It is inflammation around the long bones in rapidly growing
young dogs.

The treatment is symptomatic:

      Rest

      Anti-inflammatories

Anti-oxidants to help with the inflammation.

      My treatment.

      Leash walking for 7 days

Aspirin - 325mg twice daily for 5 days.

      Vitamin C - 100mg twice daily.

I document all my treatments in the progress sheet, and re-examine and
record my findings daily.

P.S. This is stuff that YOU can do.
And with the NEW Course, it's EASIER than ever.
More Step by Step Instructions.
And a TONNE more Videos- Dr. Jones show you *Exactly* what
to do in each situation.

P.P.P.S  His NEW Dog Supplement is
